4th and final visit

I have never felt hatred like I did when I looked into the faces of the people as I rode through the streets of Iraq with the American military. Today I rode in the Motor pool, following President Bush through the streets of Salt Lake City. The feeling was very similar. I didn't see anyone waving an American Flag. Maybe if the President threw candy out the window of his car like the soldiers do, at least the kids would wave, like they do in Iraq.

leo gets new neighbors

90-year-old Leo Pronk cuts the ribbon to celebrate completion of construction at 738 North Colorado Street. The home was seized during a drug raid in January 1997, it sat vacant for 10 years, and was finally demolished and reconstructed by the City Housing Division. Mr Pronk has lived in the house next door for 53 years.

Sports and more sports

9-year-old Samson Grunwald throws a pitch in a Venice Little League game. I have shot nothing but sports for the past week and a half, it's been great!
Mehmet Okur gets fouled in game one of the NBA playoffs, Jazz -Lakers series.
Fabian Espindola lifts Javier Morales up in the air after Morales scored the first goal for the Real, in MLS Soccer action Real vs FC Dallas
Sometimes the auto-focus doesn't keep up with the action, as in this play when Ronnie Brewer hit a big 3 pointer in Game 6 Jazz vs. Houston.

The Park City Soccer team surrounds Tyler Thomas after he scored the game winning goal for Park City in Overtime to give the Minors the 3A State Championship

Real Galaxy

I saw David Beckham for the first time, he was incredible. He tied the game on this incredible free kick, leaving the Real looking totally confused on the play.

Marines return from Iraq

I recognized a few of the Marines when they returned from Iraq today, and tried to find a contrasting moment to the photos I took on the sad day when their loved ones said good by last year.
