Provo Tabernacle Fire

Watching the Tabernacle with flames through the broken windows was very sad. I have many fond memories of that building, as well as feeling very bored in church meetings as a kid. I remember sitting on the front row of the balcony with Robby and Garry Moon when we were about 8-years-old, pulling fluff off of our socks and blowing it over the balcony and watching if float up high over the crowd for what seemed like hours until it would drift out of site.

Love the pics Rick. Where were you to get the one that overlooks the top? This is so sad-

Ditto! Except the sock lint. {sick} We would tear little pieces of paper from the program, set it on the balcony ledge, then blow it off {cuz mom would get mad if she saw us} then look over and see it sitting on the brim on someones hat below.

Awesome photos.

Very sad event.

As always Rick, thoughtful pictures ! Don O. his brother and I would sneak out of the Tabernacle and go get donuts at the "Spudnuts" on center street.
