A Typical Week

The voting turn out was very slow in some districts, for the Republican primary. I waited about 40 minutes for a voter to show up at Washington Elementry School in Salt Lake.
Rachel Scarbrough coaches 9-year-old, Alex Boss during a gymnastics class at the GTC in Salt Lake City. Scarbrough was a gymnast at the University of Utah. She had to quit competing as a gymnast because of an injury.
Nick Driggs and Mark Rawlings, created a campaign promoting self testicular exams to prevent testicular cancer. One of their videos made YouTube home page this week, It's a sing along with 29 ways of saying testicles. It has more than one million views so far. It is called Carpe Testes.
L-R 100-year-old, Norma Alter, visits with 100-year-old Iris Stout in the State Capital Rotunda Friday. Iris Stout was looking at the program when she noticed a familiar name. Stout was a bridesmaid at Norma Alter's wedding in Salt Lake, in 1934. They worked together at Yellowstone before they were married, and had not seen each other for more than 70 years, until today.
